JOIN THE FRIENDS A membership gift at any level makes a real difference to our library and community. Your membership dollars provide funding for a variety of services and programs that contribute to the excellence of the Jackson County Public Library. Come join us!
Bookstore volunteers reap intangible rewards such as the satisfaction in knowing customers find just what they want; pleasure in knowing our prices make books affordable; and pride in working to support our community through the public library. A variety of opportunities to volunteer at the book store include:
• Sorting, cleaning, pricing & shelving books • Assisting customers • Working the cash register • Helping with store maintenance • Unpacking boxes, helping with recycling • Sorting & bundling magazines • Straightening shelves Please be sure to check "I would like to volunteer" when joining or renewing your membership.
We can use your donations. We accept donations year round of:
• Books, including large print books • Magazines • CDs and Tapes • Records
And, of course, shop at the bookstore. We have great bargains and we're open 7 days a week. |
